Meet the Owner: Shawn Buck Shawn Buck was submersed in construction growing up in Michigan. Therefore, it seemed a natural progression to join the construction industry as so many family members had before him. He joined the UA local and was accepted into the five year apprentice program for plumbers and pipefitters. After ten years of service and acquiring an immense wealth of knowledge in the industrial and commercial industry, Shawn decided it was time to make a move south. It was his strong desire to open his own plumbing company that inspired this move. Eight years later, Shawn and his team have created one of the largest plumbing companies in Monroe County. Throughout these eight years, Seaway Plumbing, Inc. has been awarded several high-profile projects in Monroe County due to his vast experience and knowledge in the industry.
